With the big in season tournaments in the rearview mirror, its worthwhile to check in to see where the Cyclone Wrestlers stand for earning an NCAA allocation for the conference. Remember that wrestlers do not directly qualify for NCAAs regardless of their record - spots are earned for the conference tournament and wrestlers can steal a spot (or have a spot stolen from them) based on how they perform at Big XIIs. For example, if the Big XII earns three allocations at 149 pounds then the top three placewinners at 149 are going to St. Louis regardless of whether or not they were the three wrestlers who earned allocations for the conference.
