The Iowa State men’s golf team has spent the last few weeks accomplishing feats it never before accomplished. The Cyclones, though, feel like they’re just starting.
“There’s nothing that really stands out as being too different,” coach Andrew Tanks said of ISU’s back-to-back tournament victories. “I just think the guys have been working hard, just starting to play well and have some momentum going, which is always nice.
“I think it’s closer to what we’re capable of. I feel like we under-performed for a large majority of the season. Once you start making some putts and making some birdies, it can all kind of fall into place nicely.
