Iowa State fans have come to expect a certain brand of basketball the last five years under Fred Hoiberg. Newly-minted Cyclones coach Steve Prohm doesn’t envision visitors to Hilton Coliseum having to change their taste in hoops to appreciate what he brings with him from Murray State.
“The style will be real similar,” Prohm said Monday after meeting the team at Sukup Basketball Complex. “Our team last year averaged 80 points a game. We want to play fast. The shot clock’s going down (from 35 to 30 seconds), that shouldn’t be an issue.
“We want to play the game the right way.
