Prohm on Nader
DENVER — As he fell violently toward the floor, Abdel Nader had a moment of clarity.
“I just tried to keep my hands up,” Nader said.
He managed that and all he was left with was a sore elbow after landing in a heap after getting knocked down hard by Iona’s A.J. English in the second half of ISU’s 94-81 win Thursday in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
Well, it wasn’t just the elbow that was a little worse for wear.
“And my left butt cheek,” Nader said through a laugh.
