Iowa State’s Georges Niang and Monte Morris have been invited to Adidas’ Global Nations event later this month, an ISU spokesperson told the Ames Tribune on Wednesday.
The pair will act as counselors at the camp, which features some of the world’s best 18-and-under players broken into teams by region. NBA coaches and players also will be working the camp, according to Adidas.
Both Niang and Morris have had busy summers attending national events with Niang, an All-American last season, attending the Nike Basketball Academy and Morris trying out for USA Basketball’s Pan American games team.
