Iowa State signee Emmanuel Malou filed paperwork to declare for the NBA draft, an ISU spokesman confirmed on Monday afternoon.
The Vertical first reported the story and also reported that Malou has not yet hired an agent. Malou has until May 25th to decide if he will stay in the draft or remove his name and play for the Cyclones.
Malou was the centerpiece of ISU’s 2016 recruiting class. He was considered one of the top junior college prospects in the class and was expected to fill an immediate need for the Cyclones in the post.
