Iowa State has reeled in another late addition to its 2015-16 team.
The Cyclones received a commitment from power forward Simeon Carter, a source tells the Ames Tribune.
Carter, of Charlotte, N.C., committed to SMU in May before recently re-opening his recruitment.
For the Cyclones, who figure to be ranked in the preseason top-10, he bolsters their frontcourt depth, one area that was sorely lacking in an otherwise mostly well-rounded roster. Carter offers included Nebraska, South Carolina and Virginia Tech, according to Rivals. He visited ISU in late July.
Carter is also the second big man coach Steve Prohm has garnered a commitment from this summer after taking 6-foot-8 Clinton forward Brady Ernst, who is still recovering from ACL surgery, in June.
