ISU announced the signings of forward graduate transfers Darrell Bowie (Northern Illinois) and Merrill Holden (Louisiana Tech) on Monday.
Bowie redshirted last season while recovering from shoulder surgery. He averaged 13.1 points and 7.1 rebounds in the 2014-15 season before suffering the injury. Holden averaged 8.1 points and 5.0 rebounds last season.
“We are excited about the additions of Darrell and Merrill,” said coach Steve Prohm in a statement. “Having multiple players graduate that played significant minutes from last year’s team, including more than 30 a game each from Georges (Niang), Jameel (McKay) and Abdel (Nader), we knew we would need to find experience and we were able to do that.
