Former Iowa State men’s basketball player and current New Orleans Pelican Bryce Dejean-Jones has died, the Dallas (Texas) County coroner’s office confirmed to the Ames Tribune on Saturday.
He was 23 years old.
The coroner’s office was not immediately able to provide the cause of death.
Dejean-Jones played his senior season at ISU after previous stints at USC and UNLV. He went undrafted by the NBA, but signed a three-year contract with the Pelicans in February.
