Iowa State started the season 1-0 with an interesting win to say the least against Northern Iowa. Matt, Jake and Matthias dove in to what was the triple overtime thriller inside Jack Trice Stadium on Saturday. Iowa State was unable to finish some drives with touchdowns and some self inflicted wounds should be easily corrected. There should be some correctable mistakes for Matt Campbell to fix before the big Cy-Hawk showdown in two weeks.
Matt went back and watched the game on Sunday to ease his mind a bit. He found a few things that were very positive that should go a long ways towards a successful season.
