As other Cyclones walk off the field, the defensive end runs laps. Pierson attacks the pass rush sled. He fine tunes his technique.
Pierson works late nearly every night, believing additional work is the key to success. He burned plenty of midnight oil preparing to face a Texas Tech offense that’s one of the nation’s best today (2:30 p.m., FSN).
“I always do extra stuff after practice,” Pierson said.
