The 2018 recruiting class is almost buttoned up, but not before one more big time commitment. The second highest rated commit of the Matt Campbell has committed to Iowa State. Four-star wide receiver Joseph Scates made his commitment known on Sunday night.
The 6-foot-2 receiver is the 55th ranked wide receiver in the entire 2018 class. Scates held offers from Alabama, Michigan State, LSU and other blue blood schools. Scates has an 89 composite rating on 247sports.
Scates has great size and speed. His ability to go and get the ball makes him a prime target for Iowa State to snag in this class.
