Jamie Pollard Announces Iowa State Will Resume Previous COVID Policies

With the recent coronavirus numbers spiking up, Iowa State has not allowed any fans outside of family members since the Cyclones defeated Baylor on November 7th. This morning, Jamie Pollard announced that they would be going back to the policies that were in place prior to allowing no fans. This means we can pack The Jack one last time this year (25% capacity) and men’s and women’s basketball will be around 10%.

This will not be implemented until Saturday, December 5th, when the Fighting Matt Campbells take on the West Virginia Mountaineers in a football contest. The first men’s and women’s game to allow fans will both take place on Sunday, December 6th where the Twister Sisters face off against #1 ranked South Carolina in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, and the men play DePaul in the Big East-Big 12 Battle.
