Two Cyclones qualify for NCAA meet
Iowa State’s Jhoanmy Luque and Danny Jones secured spots in the NCAA championships with their performance at the NCAA west prelim meet on Friday in Lawrence, Kan.
Luque qualified in the women’s long jump for the second straight season after jumping 20 feet, 5 inches.
Jones qualified in the men’s 400-meter hurdles, finishing in 51.51 seconds.
