Nolan named to preseason all-Big 12 team
Iowa State libero Caitlin Nolan was the lone Cyclone slected to the Big 12 preseason all-conference team, it was announced Thursday.
Nolan, the 11th player under ISU coach Christy Johnson-Lynch to be named an All-American, was the Big 12 libero of the year last season.
Nolan was a unanimous selection to the preseason all-Big 12 team.
Oklahoma outside hitter Kierra Holst and Texas middle blocker Chiaka Ogbogu were named the preseason players of the year. Former ISU player Andie Malloy, now an outside hitter at Baylor, was also an all-conference selection.
