ISU sweeps South Dakota
The Cyclones picked up 10-7 and 8-2 victories on Tuesday. Brittany Gomez led Iowa State (17-24) by going 6 for 9 in the doubleheader. She had six RBIs, two triples and three runs.
Kelsey McFarland went 3 for 4 with two home runs and five RBIs in the second game.
Also, a home contest with Iowa for today was postponed due to expected thunderstorms. The game will be played on April 27. Game time is to be determined.
