The headline decision the country is waiting for the Big 12 Conference to make is whether or not to expand, but the league is currently mulling over a host of issues following the recent announcements it will play a conference championship football game and will not be launching a conference television network.
From how to structure a 10-team league into divisions to expanding its media rights into the digital realm, it is certainly a time of change for the league and its members.
The most monumental decision, though, will no doubt be if the Big 12, the smallest of the country’s power conference, decides to add schools to its current 10-team membership in the near-term.
