Iowa State was coming off of their worst performance so far, and rebounded with their best game of the season.
Iowa State was dominant for the entire game, except for the first four minutes of the second half where Texas Tech went on a 10-1 run to take the lead. After Tech took a 35-34 lead at the under-16, Iowa State outscored the Red Raiders 36-17 down the stretch.
This game was undoubtedly the most well rounded defensive show the Cyclones have put on all year, holding Texas Tech to their season low with 52 points. The Cyclones played suffocating defense which forced the Red Raiders to shoot 33.
