The Cyclones did not disrespect Hilton Coliseum tonight, thanks to a collective team effort. West Virginia traveled into the building that Iowa State disrespected last Saturday, and did not come out victorious like the last team did. Iowa State controlled the game from the opening tip with ice hot shooting and laser focus on defense.
Lindell Wigginton, Donovan Jackson, and Zoran Talley Jr. got things rolling early by breaking the press with ease. Iowa State only had seven turnovers against a team that forces 19 per game. They did this with an aggressive strategy, allowing the trap to come and getting rid of the ball immediately.
