Iowa State Cyclones head coach Paul Rhoads has provided an update on 2015 signee Sheldon Croney, who suffered an injury last week caused by a self-inflicted gunshot to the hand.
There is still no word on when Croney will be at 100 percent, but Rhoads comments’ seem to indicate the Cyclones are not worried about the running back’s availability for the upcoming football season.
“He is doing fine,” Rhoads told the Ames Tribune. “There is going to have to be a healing process that takes place. With the medical reports we have right now we have are confident that by summertime, about when he arrives, he’ll be able to do most everything everyone else is doing.
