Iowa State was late arriving to the stadium on Saturday due to an accident in front of them on the way to the stadium. It wasn’t enough to slow down Iowa State beating Baylor 23-13.
Baylor took the lead early on Iowa State going right down the field and striking first. Iowa State would answer with a 6 play drive and a 36 yard touchdown strike from Zeb Noland to Allen Lazard. On the reception Allen Lazard set the Iowa State receiving yards record.
Iowa State and Baylor would trade field goals in the second quarter. Finally Iowa State would take the lead on a 64 yard touchdown pass from Zeb Noland to Hakeem Butler.
