Iowa State fell to Ohio State 62-59 on a rough night in Tulsa.
Iowa State came out of the gates flat. Missing almost every shot in the first few minutes allowed Ohio State to jump out to a 9-2 lead early on before a quick Steve Prohm timeout. The Cyclones finally woke up, going a 15-2 run to take a 17-14 lead. The Buckeyes would fight back forcing Iowa State into a 8 minute scoring drought and Ohio State would reclaim the lead and get it to 6.
Iowa State tightened things up before the half as they went into the break down 26-24.
