SB Nation’s FanPulse rankings are in, and the Cyclones have fallen out of them. Cyclones aren’t even really on the outside looking in according to FanPulse being outside of the top 30 now. A one point loss to Iowa, and a triple OT thriller victory against an FBS team isn’t enough to get it done.

Iowa State starts the week as 20.5 point favorites over the University of Louisiana Monroe, and could really find their footing in week four before starting conference play. It’s unlikely Iowa State could do anything this week to get them back in the top 25, but there’s still a lot of season left to rejoin the ranks.
