The Cyclones came out swinging in Lubbock and never looked away with a 34-24 victory over Texas Tech. Brock Purdy and Breece Hall led the way for the Cyclones as Iowa State moves to 5-2 on the season and 3-1 in the Big 12.
Brock Purdy got the party started for the Cyclones in the first half, connecting with Charlie Kolar for two scores early on. Purdy would find LaMichael Pettway not long after to give the Cyclones a 20-0 lead early on in the second quarter. Texas Tech would find their way into the end zone before the half ended to make it 20-7 Cyclones at the break.
