This afternoon, Iowa State announced that the UL-Lafeyette Ragin’ Cajuns have been added as Iowa State’s non-conference opponent for the 2020 season to serve as the “plus one” in the 9+1 schedule the Big 12 is following this year.
The Cyclones and Ragin’ Cajuns have never played before, but last season Iowa State did play sister school UL-Monroe in a game where Iowa State put up 72 points.
In 2019, UL-Lafeyette went 11-3, including an appearance in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Game, and a victory over Miami (OH) in the LendingTree Bowl.
