Wes Greder has always had a busy athletics schedule juggling cross country, basketball, track and baseball at Gilbert High School, but it’s never been quite like what he’s doing now as he winds down his career on the diamond while readying to continue it on the hardwood.
He is spending his summer helping power the Tigers, a state title contender, to a 30-4 record on the diamond while working out with the Iowa State men’s basketball team, where he’s a walk-on freshman.
