To counteract Big 12 speed Iowa State needs to slow down.
It’s the only way linebacker Luke Knott knows for the Cyclones to start adapting to it better.
“Press pause,” Knott said. “I know they are going fast, but you’ve got to press pause and think about your keys and react.”
Speed can be a problem in the Big 12, both in how fast teams run plays and the athleticism of their playmakers.
