LUBBOCK, Texas - Iowa State’s time in the Big 12 win column turned out to be a one-week reprieve.
The Cyclones surrendered 776 yards of total offense to Texas Tech, and the Red Raiders pummelled ISU in the second half to claim a 66-31 victory Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium.
ISU broke a nine-game conference losing streak last week against Kansas, but the reality of the difficulty of the rest of the league hit the Cyclones (2-3, 1-1 Big 12) square as the Red Raiders (4-2, 1-2) outscored them 28-10 in the second half while throwing for 515 yards and rushing for 261 yards for the game.
