Matt Campbell knew his biggest challenge in his first year as the Iowa State football coach was going to be retooling the offensive line. After Saturday’s spring game, Campbell believes he may have an answer at center.
Redshirt freshman Julian Good-Jones started at center on Saturday for the Cardinal team, which beat the Gold team, 10-6. It was the first time he’d ever started at center. He only recently moved there this spring, and it continues to feel like a new world.
“I was playing at right tackle and they just moved me to center,” Good-Jones said.
