Iowa State running back Mike Warren ran his way onto the Doak Walker Award watch list. Warren’s addition to the trophy given out to the top running back in the country was announced on Tuesday.
Warren has rushed for 797 rushing yards and three touchdowns. He holds ISU’s single-season freshman rushing record and single-game freshman rushing record when he gained 245 yards at Texas Tech on Oct. 10. He leads the Big 12 with 160.8 rushing yards per game in league contests.
