Gasser on Lazard
Trever Ryen isn’t stalking Allen Lazard, but he’ll follow him.
Ryen will watch him as he runs routes. Ryen will track his footwork in blocking drills. Ryen will even trail him on the sideline when resting because that’s the time to slide up with a question.
“You go to him for stuff if you don’t know it,” Ryen said.
Ryen isn’t alone. Lazard is only entering his junior year, but is viewed as a big brother in the wide receiver room. He’s the most accomplished playmaker at a position full of younger, inexperienced players.
