Football: How what Warren learned in high school is helping him break out at ISU

Mike Warren’s high school football coach didn’t watch him rush for 125 yards against Toledo. Randy Breeze didn’t need to. He’d already seen Warren do it before.

Warren, then a Lawton High School (Okla.) senior, carved up Edmond Sante Fe for 358 rushing yards and five touchdowns in 2013.

“The next morning at 8 o’clock, we come in to break down the film, and we got every college in the country calling,” the Lawton football coach said.
