East Lake High School (Fla.) linebacker Jake Hansen verbally committed to Iowa State on Saturday, according to a source.
Hansen is 6-foot-1, 215 pounds and is rated a two-star prospect by Rivals.com. He visited Ames as part of the Golden Ticket camp day in June and is expected to play middle linebacker in college.
His other offers included Air Force, Army, Ohio, Bowling Green and Navy.
