One of the biggest unknowns for Iowa State football entering spring practice was the offensive line.
No returning starters were suiting up and four new first-team players would need to be found. With spring concluded, first-year coach Matt Campbell is starting to get a picture of what he has up front.
“We are still a work in progress,” said Campbell on the Big 12 spring teleconference on Tuesday, “but we feel a lot more comfortable, especially on the interior.”
The three linemen that received the most praise from coaches during the 15 practices all played on the inside.
