The Matt Campbell era of Iowa State football will start under the lights at Jack Trice Stadium.
Iowa State, and its first-year football coach, will open the 2016 season by hosting Northern Iowa at 7 p.m. on Sept. 3. The game will air on Cyclones.tv.
ISU and the Big 12 Conference also announced the start time for four other games on Wednesday, including a nationally televised Thursday night game on ESPN against Oklahoma. The Cyclones will host the Sooners at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 3.
The game at Iowa will begin at 6:30 p.m. and air on the Big Ten Network.
