A few weeks ago we took a look at the NCAA Allocation outlook for each of the ten weight classes. Since then we’ve had several duals and, more importantly, the release of the first Coaches Panel Rankings. With these extra data points the picture for both the chances of Cyclone wrestlers earning an allocation and the difficulty of punching a ticket to St. Louis is starting to come in to focus.
How Are Allocations Determined?
Twenty-nine spots total are allocated to the various conference tournaments at each weight by a selection committee.
