Devon Moore came into camp as one of Iowa State prized recruits in the 2017 class. His season is now over before it began as he has suffered a torn ACL.
Moore was likely to redshirt this season as the quarterback depth chart is flooded with arms. According to Tommy Birch, Moore suffered the injury on a non contact drill in practice. Campbell told the media after practice that Moore was in the hunt to be Iowa State’s backup to Jacob Park.
Current backup quarterback Zeb Noland suffered a torn ACL last season as well on a non contact drill.
