Baylor won the tip and after 11 seconds, they’d find themselves up 2-0. Cameron Lard would open the Cyclone tap up with a basket, followed by two Solomon Young free throws that would put the Cyclones up 4-2. Manu Lecomte would “start to heat up” by hitting back to back shots for Baylor.
At the 16:34 mark, Lard would record his 41st block on the season, which goes down as the record for most blocks by a freshman at Iowa State. Jared Homan previously held the record with 40.
Baylor started 4-4, but they followed it up by going 0-9.
