Cyclones Shoot Past Alabama

The Iowa State Cyclones defeated the Crimson Tide in a high-scoring affair, winning 104-89.

The game did not get off to a great start, with Alabama very quickly jumping out to a 16-7 lead behind hot shooting from 3 (4-4 to start). John Petty Jr also poured it on early, and he would go on to score 20 first half points for Alabama.

The Cyclones would quickly go on a run, cutting the deficit entirely and taking a brief lead. The run to retake the lead was keyed by hot three point shooting (!!!) from Michael Jacobson, Tyrese Halliburton, and Rashir Bolton.
