Cyclones Drop Second Straight At Hilton

We thought this season would be full of tough learning moments. It has proven to be true. Iowa State has now dropped their second straight home game as the Cyclones fall to Texas in overtime 74-70.

Iowa State went back and forth with Texas for most of the first half, with Donovan Jackson finally breaking out of his slump. The Clones went into halftime knotted at 31. Iowa State would lead by as many as seven behind a monster effort from Cameron Lard in the second half. Unfortunately for Steve Prohm, Texas would claw their way back to tie the game late.
