For what seems like the first time all season, the Cyclones were able to get off to a not-slow start, trading buckets with the Hawks in a fast-paced first half.
Near the end of the first half, Jordan Bohannon hit a couple three pointers, sparking Iowa to a 6 point lead, 5 points of which they would carry into halftime.
Like many other games this season, the second half was very kind to the Cyclones, with Lindell Wigginton and Nick Weiler-Babb making play after play in a flurry of baskets to push the Cyclone lead near 10.
