Senior night in Ames was not the same as it has been the past few years. For the first time in eight years, the Cyclones did not come out on top in the last home game of the year. Oklahoma State shot unconscious from behind the arc, connecting on 12-26 three pointers, but shot just 43% from the floor.
The biggest struggle tonight for Iowa State was keeping Oklahoma State off of the offensive glass. Even though OSU was inneffecient, the Cowboys pulled down 13 offensive rebounds, which resulted in 24 second chance points. The Cyclones effort was there tonight but Oklahoma State seemed to make every little play and grab every loose ball.
