Starting punter Corey Dunn is out for the 2019 season with a torn achilles. The injury apparently happened when Dunn was warming up last week.
Dunn was Iowa State’s punter in every game last season for Iowa State. He averaging 40.17 yards per kick in 53 attempts. Dunn pinned 23 of those punts inside of the 20.
Iowa State was able to sign transfer punter Brian Papazian from San Jose State last week. He will battle for the starting punting job with Joe Rivera.
