Gomez became the second player in ISU softball history to be named on the NFCA All Region first team twice. The other ISU player to do so was Jenny Condon, who was named to the All-Region first-team three times from 1988-90.Gomez is now in consideration for being named on the NFCA All-American team.
The All-American team will be announced in two weeks.
