Kansas State 30 - UTSA 3
K-State scored 30 unanswered points, including 17 in the 4th, to out run the Roadrunners in San Antonio. UTSA, which scored 32 points on the road against #22 Arizona, was limited to 229 yards in their home opener.
Kansas State's backup turned starting quarterback, Joe Hubener, used the opportunity to throw for 243 yards and 0 interceptions. All three touchdowns were scored on the ground, with Huber as the leading rusher.
