Excluding some of the tackling issues that have plagued the Iowa defense this season, the unit has been solid once again this year.
The defense started the season slow, with many questioning why they were not forcing any turnovers, but they stayed the course, and have kept Iowa in games all year.
The turnovers are now coming in bunches for the defense as they have racked up six turnovers in the last three games (five interceptions, one fumble).
The defense also held the high-powered Indiana offense to 20 points and nearly 200 yards under their season total, and did the same thing to Penn State's offense last weekend in the 25-24 win.
