Why the Hawkeyes should consider resting Mark Gronowski against Wisconsin

Starting quarterback Mark Gronowski's status for Saturday's Big Ten matchup against Wisconsin is still up in the air.

The latest report indicates that Gronowski will be a game-time decision for the battle for the Heartland Trophy as he continues to recover from a left knee injury.

After a scramble against Indiana in the early stages of the fourth quarter, Gronowski was seen limping off the field as he entered the blue medical tent.

Gronowski returned to the sideline and was riding the exercise bike to try to re-enter the game, but was unable to overcome his injury.
