From top to bottom, the Big Ten is the country’s best basketball conference. Five teams rest in the Associated Press’ top 25, and on any given night, there’s a chance any team could fall.
Realistically, the top 10 teams in the Big Ten could all beat each other (sorry, Northwestern and Nebraska). It’s complete and utter chaos, and yes, it’s still January.
Before getting into the rankings, I’d like to point out that yes, I used Kenpom analytics for a good chunk of this. All of those can be found here. While I don’t believe it to be the end-all for statistics, I think the Kenpom rankings and adjusted stats are useful.
