STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The University of Iowa Women’s Tennis Team completed day one at the ITA Central Regional Championship in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Both doubles teams of Reimchen/Dohanics and Douglas/Looney were able to advance to the second round of play.
“It was a very hot day and everyone played three tough matches,” said UI assistant coach Denise Dy. “We did a great job handling the heat and competed well. It was a good day overall.”
Annette Dohanics, Anastasia Reimchen, and Natalie Looney all won their singles matches on day one in Stillwater.
