W. Tennis. Douglas named MVP at Awards Banquet

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa sophomore Zoe Douglas was named Most Valuable Player at the University of Iowa women’s tennis awards banquet Thursday night.

Douglas, a sophomore from Papworth Everard, England, finished the season 11-8 overall in singles and 10-10 in doubles. She was named MVP for the second consecutive season.

Sophomore Anastacia Reimchen was honored with the Iron Hawk and Grinder Award. The Iron Hawk Award is presented by the strength and conditioning coach to the Hawkeye who best demonstrates attitude, work ethic, and energy in the strength and conditioning room.
